Helen Stefan Moreau is a Member of 1 Everest Group, leading strategic direction while working closely with all facets of the operations to drive sustainable growth. She is also the founder and CEO of The Midtown Group, a premier staffing services and solutions firm based in Washington, DC.

As a joint venture between The Midtown Group and The Windsor Group, 1 Everest Group was born from a need to provide highly effective staffing and solutions to the government sector. In 1989, Helen founded Midtown with a card table as her desk, a few telephones, and a fax machine. With a vision to be more than just a transactional staffing firm, Helen has since provided over 45,000 professionals with stable careers and advancement opportunities.

A proud University of Florida graduate with a degree in Public Relations and Business, Helen remains deeply engaged with her alma mater as a National Board Member. She is also an active member of the Committee of 200 (C200), Women Business Collaborative, and serves as the Chapter Membership Chair of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

A champion of women, Helen makes considerable contributions to affect change locally and even internationally. For over a decade, she has supported girls in Ethiopia, serving as the Chair of Studio Samuel Foundation (SSF), whose goal is to rescue young women from poverty and the limited options they have of child marriage, labor, and trafficking denying them education and a voice. Her dedication to empowering her team, clients, and community continues to inspire others to embrace the power of relationships, adaptability, and giving back to create lasting success.
